Having conducted close to a hundred trials and handled thousands of cases, Mr. Lee’s extensive experience is a true asset to the firm. John Lee partnered with Keith Fuicelli in 2008 to form Fuicelli & Lee, P.C. after spending close to a decade working as a prosecutor. Mr. Lee decided to use his courtroom experience and extensive knowledge of the justice system to help individuals that were injured through no fault of their own.
Mr. Lee spent approximately seven years in the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office quickly rising through the ranks and prosecuting the most serious cases including First Degree Murder. He was then selected to join an elite group of prosecutors at the Attorney General’s office. There, John handled complex criminal matters including organized crime, racketeering fraud, tax evasion and white-collar crimes.
Mr. Lee’s extensive trial experience and outstanding results over the last two decades for his clients has helped him stand out amongst his peers, as he has been nominated as a “Super Lawyer” by 5280 magazine for the past two years.
Since forming Fuicelli & Lee, PC Mr. Lee has represented thousands of people that were injured in car crashes due to someone else’s negligence. He has tried cases to verdict all over the state of Colorado. His experience and credibility with both lawyers and judges has helped him achieve outstanding results for his clients.
John Lee came highly recommended and I now know why and I highly advise anyone who needs a GREAT attorney to call him. He is a caring, highly qualified attorney and negotiator who knows the law inside and out. I'm so happy that I was referred to him!!! He is the BEST! - Renee
In 2016 Mr. Lee was nominated by Governor John Hickenlooper to serve on the First Judicial District Nominating Commission. As a member of that commission Mr. Lee is responsible, along with other members of the commission, for reviewing, investigating, and interviewing applicants for judicial vacancies for both Jefferson and Gilpin counties. When there is an opening, the Commission works diligently to send the Governor three candidates from the pool of applicants. The Governor then appoints one of those candidates to the bench.
