Our law firm is committed to community in the regions we serve

Over the past 10 years, we have become more deeply connected to our surrounding communities – both in Denver and Longmont. In addition, many of our staff members grew up in Colorado, and even those of us who didn’t grow up here feel a deep love for our state. For a host of reasons, our law firm is committed to community service.

For us, serving the community begins with giving each client personal attention and care. Our personal injury clients come to us during some of the most difficult and trying times of their lives, and we strive to help make things a little easier by providing them with excellent legal representation and hand-on customer service.

Beyond caring directly for our clients, we know that giving back to the broader community makes life better for them and for all Coloradans. To that end, we have felt privileged to participate in a number ways:

Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado

For the past several years, Fuicelli & Lee has worked to support the important cause of the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado. Many of our clients live with brain injuries following an accident, and the BIAC helps connect them with resources that positively impact their quality of life. We really can’t say enough good things about this organization and its team’s tireless work to support brain injury patients.

Each year since 2016, we have entered a team in the BIAC’s Pikes Peak Challenge. Our team bonds over the physical challenge of ascending this 14er together, and we raise funds for an incredible organization in the process. For last year’s event, we helped raise more than $12,000. We plan to participate again this year on September 8, and registration is now open if you would like to join the cause.

Bicycle Awareness Campaign

Each summer, we inevitably work with a number of clients who have been injured in car vs. bicycle accidents. These accidents can result in life-changing injuries with long, slow recovery times.

During the warmer months, more cyclists are on the road and the possibility of accidents increases. For that reason, we launched a Bicycle Awareness campaign in 2016 to remind motorists to keep a lookout for cyclists.

For the campaign, we worked with non-profit Project Recycle to distribute yard signs to help alert drivers to bicycle safety issues. The nonprofit group then donated bicycles to children in need based on the number of signs shared.

This video sums up the campaign, and now is a great time to remind drivers to be aware of cyclists and pedestrians:

Educating Fellow Attorneys

We feel that one of the best ways to give back to the community is to help improve the skills and knowledge of all attorneys who represent injured clients. Each year, Fuicelli & Lee attorneys spend time sharing our knowledge of the law with fellow trial attorneys. In these classes and workshops, we share our courtroom and negotiation experiences with other attorneys. We update them on changes to the law and new representative cases.

We want all injured people to receive the best possible legal representation. So, because we can’t take on every case ourselves, the next best solution is educating other lawyers.

We truly love our Denver and Longmont communities, and it’s important to each of us to give back in some way. We look forward to serving our community in the years to come. To learn more about Fuicelli & Lee, contact us today.
